Studio rules

No outdoor shoes
Bring a spare pair of shoes to change into before entering our studio. Depending on the class you are taking, appropriate footwear could be: suede-soled dance shoes, street shoes with clean soles, sneakers or bare feet. When in doubt, ask your instructors.

Class Schedule
Please arrive early to allow our classes to start on time.

Unless otherwise specified, all our classes end 5 minutes before the stated end time, in order to allow the next class to start on time.

Studio closures
Our studio will be closed during most statutory holidays. Classes that were to take place during statutory holidays will be rescheduled to the extent possible. All affected students will be notified a minimum of 1 week before the cancelled class.

Photos and Videos
Please do not take any photos or videos during class. If you would like to record what we did in class, ask your instructor to demonstrate at the end of class. Instructors can accept or decline at their discretion. Any videos taken by students/participants are for personal use only.

We may occasionally take photos and videos during classes and events, for promotional purposes. If you have any concerns or misgivings about being in these photos, please advise us ahead of time. All photos taken by our instructors and administrators are the sole property of the Studio and will be used at our discretion.

Liability waiver
Liability waivers must be signed by all first-time students before entering our studio.

Registration

Payment
All payments are due, in full, before the class.

Missed classes
You have a 6 hours windows to cancel any classers you have signed up for. Otherwise, your account will be charged as if you had attended the class.
*Please note that you cannot cancel any classes if you have the 8 week (same class/same day once a week class) pass as the class is only valid for those 8 weeks.

Cancelled classes
We require a minimum of 6 students for all classes. We reserve the right to cancel any class if minimum enrollment numbers are not met. Should a class be cancelled, you will be offered 3 options:

-If you have a pass, the credit for the class will be return to your pass.
– If you purchase a drop-in pass, you can keep the credit for the same class at a later time or a class of equal value.
-you can receive a full refund for the amount you paid for that drop-in class.

Payment methods
Accepted payment methods are cash, debit cards, credits cards, e-transfer and personal cheques (if you pay at least 2 weeks before the class).

Receipts
We provide electronic receipts by email for all credit card transactions.
For cash and cheque payments, we provide receipts upon request.

All information contained in the liability waiver is confidential and will not be shared with anyone outside of the Studio instructors and administrators.

How is my email used?

Electronic receipts
When you pay by credit card, we input your email address into our payment system so that we can send you an electronic receipt for your payment.

Mailing list
If you agreed to be added to our general mailing list, you will receive periodic newsletters in the form of monthly email updates and occasional special bulletins. You may unsubscribe from this list at any time.

Please note: if you don’t want to receive mailing list, but still want to receive message about your classes (class cancellation, receipts, class credit/balance…), you can allow that by going to your account settings.

Our mailing list is hosted on a secure server with a newsletter provider and will never be shared or sold to any third party.
